I took some quick colour studies this weekend [6pm Saturday evening], as part of my research into my next series of landscape paintings. It has been a while since I've dived into paintings of such a large scale, so it is exciting just starting the prepartory work. They will be abstracts again, but this time the focus is on home [last time was a study of Hong Kong].
These were taken in my back garden on my point-and-shoot, and haven't been Photoshopped at all. Mother Nature can take all the credit for the colours.
