Otis Redding

I heard the Kanye & Jay-Z track last night, and the jury is still out.
Regardless, this song is one of those that will always makes me think back to being a little girl listening to my Mum & Dad's LPs in the back lounge on a Sunday afternoon.

I always blog about DTI. Very unoriginal. But I do adore Monday's 'Pets on Furniture' post. I can't wait until I can contribute!

The Spare Room & The Cool Hunter

Wow, I've never wanted to go to Hollywood until now. I can just picture myself (in Winter) drinking scotch and playing games in that parlour. Bliss.

Yosigo

Stunning photos from Spanish photographer, Yosigo. The subjects are so diverse but he still manages to roll out his own unique style through a folio spanning 4 and a bit years. Love!

Avoiding Cabin Fever

Couch-bound for the last few days would normally cause cabin fever but instead I've kept myself amused with: This scene & this scene and reminisced about high-school. (My poor Mum...). Tried this recipe. And spent hours going through the archive of this stunning blog. I read about one of my favourite artistsWorked on my Arnsdorf competition collage.
And remembered this quote:

“Go be that starving Artist you’re afraid to be. Open up that journal and get poetic finally. Volunteer. Suck it up and travel. You were not born here to work and pay taxes. You were put here to be part of a vast organism to explore and create. Stop putting it off. The world has much more to offer than what’s on 15 televisions at TGI Fridays. Take pictures. Scare people. Shake up the scene. Be the change you want to see in the world. You’ll thank yourself for it.”
